Aeon

Summary

The Aeon is the Amarr supercarrier. With a 4% bonus to armor resistances per level allowing the Aeon to mount a tank upwards of 15 million EHP, the Aeon sees some use among null-sec and low-sec alliances. In huge capital brawls its immense tank makes it relatively unfavorable to engage versus other ships which do more damage or are more expensive vessels. Like the Archon, it is inferior for use as a ratting carrier.

Notes

Aeon is the typical Commonwealth spelling of the English word spelled elsewhere as eon. It is also, however, the spelling normally used when discussing Aeons, beings which the ancient Gnostics believed emanated from God and occupied an intermediate position between God and humanity. Given the religious origins of many Amarr ship names, this more specific use might be the ship's namesake. ## Patch History
